and her name is Kaley Cuoco, as Wonder Woman, of course. I can't believe how much was "hanging out" in her costume on the Big Bang Theory last night. It's not like they had to resort to that for ratings...it's already the highest nerd related show currently. But I am not complaining. The part with the three Justice Leagues made me laugh as I was reminded of the Family Guy episode where they dressed up like the "A-Team," and the guys won because they had a real black guy. (For those who didn't see it, they won because they had a real girl as Wonder Woman. As if anyone can replace Lynda Carter, though...)
However, it leads to me that I have to defend Aquaman, again...Raj, Aquaman does NOT suck. You are not good enough to carry his gloves if you think he sucks. He is simply from another ecosystem and his super-abilities are catered to THAT environment. That, of course would make him super-humanly strong on land. (I'd like to see you say he sucks to his face. And I am aware that Raj is a character and that this was created by writers, but I live for fantasy so why can't we treat as real.) Besides, like every other superhero, he has a hot red-headed wife. (On a side note, there seems to be an abundance of redheaded women in the comics/novels world married to or dating protagonists, plus of course, Barbara Gordon, the original Silver Age Batgirl. Find her first story, against Killer Moth, I believe, and you will love the look, a redheaded liabrarian with thick big glasses who puts on a skintight outfit to fight crime. And apparently she dated Robin for a while...Was there ever a Batgirl/Supergirl team up comic? I'll have to look that up.)
I got to see Harry Potter 7 not too long ago. As there are many reviews out there, and every blogger has probable commented on it, I will only say that I think it is a pretty good buildup for the fight at the end. And that you can really tell that they have grownup. (Speaking of grown-up, Hannah Montana was caught with a bong, giggle. Rich kids....)
Watched an episode of Voyager tonight. It was the second part of when Voyager gets stuck on Earth of 1996 and Sarah Silverman helps to save them, this episode is only significant to me as Joe (the Doctor) gets his emitter.
Random thoughts.
I wonder if there will ever be an album by Fat, Horny, Black and Joe?
Who discovered coffee?
On another note, who wrote the first Christmas Carols? And who decided that these three were the particular "Wise men"?
Who delivered Jesus? There was no mention of the Holy Midwife...
Did Jesus have a part-time job growing up? Or Moses, for that matter?
And since Moses parted the Red Sea, did he make it a comb-over?
I love Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Did you notice almost all of the reindeer have German names?
How much did Hermey the Dentist Elf end up charging an hour? And which board certified him (or did he get a Mexican diploma?)
What is the word for Elf in French?
How could Elves be both toy and cookie makers, and the graceful immortal creatures of legend? It would suck to live forever if all you could do was bake cookies....
Good night, folks.

What a nice snowfall outside
between the snow outside and the piles of presents for Littlecaveman, this place is beginning to look a lot like Jesus' birthday. Littlecaveman is sitting down watching Toupie et Binou and I type this. It has been a long week with no time to sit here until now. So, as they say at the beginning of the recording for Platinum Blonde's "Doesn't Really Matter" : Are you sitting comfortably, then let's begin.
1. I still can't believe they killed Giles.
2. I don't think I am going to be a fan of this whole "Batman Incorporated" story lines. For those that don't know, Bruce Wayne has decided that the world needs many Batmans to help fight international crime and terrorism, and Mr. Wayne has decided to fund it (it is not a business venture, but "Philanthropic" in nature.) It seems now too much like a gimmick in order to cross reference the many Batman titles now.
3. I think it's time to watch more Star Trek. Littlecaveman is still obsessed with the various themesongs as we discovered last week. And the fact that the Big Bang Theory brought up the Vulcan emotional supressor again, makes me want to sit and and have a Star Trek kind of day.
4. My D&D group has decided to go off on a different tangent for a while, with me as the DM. (This won't happen for a few weeks, so I will have a some time to create some new interesting twists for the giants campaign. I will have to take into consideration on how to introduce two new characters, but really, how hard can that be? You've been teleported to a tavern...)
I think I need a bigger house. There is way too much crap here and no space to keep it anymore. (I don't think we are going to get rid of anything, so...) I remember when we moved in and everything we owned fit in the living room. (Granted, it was in boxes, but...) Also, the fact that I am inherently lazy is a factor in why my house is always so cluttered. I just can't handle it anymore right now.
Anyways, that's all for now.

This will be the last time I mention the Sens
because, I am officially packing it in for this season. It would be one thing if they were a no-talent team that tries hard like the Laffs, but they are a lazy, uninspired collection of overpaid wimps. (They are 30th in the NHL in hits...a full 57 behind number 29... that in itself shows how lazy they are!) and until there is a trade, because this IS not the coach's fault (he'll be fired anyways...) I refuse to even acknowledge their existence. Besides, as attendance is dropping it's only a matter of time that the "Buy tickets or I'll move the team" stuff will start anyways...
Now, on to important news.
Rupert Giles is dead. I am not kidding. They killed him in Buffy: Season Eight #39. Joss wasn't kidding when he said that Buffy fans were in for the biggest shock of their lives last month when he was talking about both Season Nine and the end of Season Eight. I am devastated. Buffy needs him so much. And Angel killed him. The same way he killed Jenny back in Season 2. And Faith lay by too weak to do anything (see, my friends, Buffy is better than Faith...this has never been more true than in the comic. Buffy has all these super-powers now.)
We have put up our tree here in the Mattcave. Littlecaveman showed absolutely no interest in it until late last night, when he decided it was time to start pulling off ornaments. It reminds me of how our old cats liked to bang at the ornaments themselves, and how they would take the tree down at least once a season (with all the broken crap to prove it.) But it means to me that the season is officially here, with all the pressure and social requirements that come with it. I guess one's schedule only becomes one's own in January...
It's snowing outside right now, just a little. As I get older I am beginning to have an appreciation for snow (especially since I have a contractor do my driveway...I really am a lazy bum.) Because when it is snowing, it is not extremely cold out. And slow-falling snow has a relaxing effect on the system, which I need more than anything right now.
(Littlecaveman is eating breakfast right now and smiling...you gotta love him!)
Anyways, that's all I have time for today...

December is here...
"Ding, fries are done, Ding, fries are done. I gotta run. I gotta run...." Everyone knows where this comes from, right? Which reminds me, I have to go start recording my Christmas Album. (Sessions presents, a Mattcaveman Christmas, starring such standards as "Jingle Bells", "Away in a Manger" and "How did I get this Candy Cane up my Ass?")
As many people may know, Buffy Season Eight is finished in one more month. However, I have discovered that there's going to be....(wait for it....) a Season Nine. Joss Whedon has "kindly" (read for lots of cash) decided that there needs to be a Season Nine, a shorter one that will only cover two years...(instead of the three plus that has been printed for Season Eight...)... and I thought I was done....oh well, seriously, who can't get enough of Buffy. Follow here for more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYS-7mqpc7w
I have told by a friend that there will indeed be an Aquaman movie in 2013...Link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1477834/. Even thought this has probably been in the works for a long time before I got into speaking about it out loud, I feel as if I had a small part to play in this. (Many Bothans died to bring us this information; therefore, use at your own peril, as the Death Star still has the Shield Generator to contend with :) ) It makes me think, wouldn't you like to own a Star Destroyer, I would think you would end up like Mel Brooks from Spaceballs a lot where you have to run over the ship a lot because the movie would be over by the time you got there otherwise.
Since today is turning into a clipshow, let me show you one of my favourite all time Southpark moments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2jZZoxomAQ&feature=related. This is by far, the classic defining moment for Eric Cartman.
I really want to put up Mr. Black, but I haven't been able to get a clip so I'll settle for the picture at the top instead. That truly is my favourite clip of all time...
Sorry for the clipshow, have no fear I have blog topics for years, like a crazy wedding, Littlecaveman becomes a robot...and something happens doo doo doo doo doo...
Next time I will think about why it is better to be a Vulcan than human....
