I am happy that I get to play tonight. This campaign is the first time I have played a dwarf that I can ever remember. (I usually am human, half-elf of true elf). This is from over 30 years of playing. My current character is a Hammer of Moradin (cleric/fighter/paladin), which again isn't surprising with some of the characters I have played over the years. (Oh yes, nerd boy, everybody just loves when you talk about characters. Why not go gazebo-hunting while you're at it?)
My son stood up by himself for almost 3 minutes straight today.
Yet again, I am moved to talk about the LOTR movies. Why did they invent that scene where Gollum frames Sam for stealing food before they go into Cirith Ungol? Once again, I think artistic license should be limited at some point.
Aren't hamburgers awesome? I really like the fact they seem to be going haute couture now. There is a restaurant in Ottawa where you can get a 25,00 $ burger. Poutine seems to be going mainstream too, much to the chagrin to the "faux intellectuels" of Québec. I think it's cool. The first time I had poutine I was apprehensive, I mean cheese curds on fries, and have been hooked ever since.
More randomness...
Why did Chewbacca have to die on Sernpidal? That whole Yuuzhan Vong thing was a great concept, I guess some characters had to die. Han Solo has never been the same since, though.
Has the Force been with you?
Does it rain every garbage day where you live?
My cat Alfie seems to be getting fatter every day.
Last night was the longest game in Senators history, both editions of the team. It was also the day the Pittsburgh Pirates had their worst defeat ever in their 110 year history.
I wish I could have stuck it through the novel Dune, but I got so freaking confused. I got that women were the powerful ones and that there was some drug, but that is all I seemed to understand fully (oh yeah, and some large worms of some sort).
The Wheel of Time is a great series, just waiting for book 12 to come out in paperback. I am wondering how different the writing style will be since Robert Jordan's death.
Thank you for "listening".
