that way I could have been an "artist" in both the musical worlds and the visual worlds. I certainly have the attitude to be a visual artist ("From now on, your name shall be Chrsitobel.") But seriously, I don't have it, and can live with it. I have a couple of buddies who can really create visually, one of them is really, really, good. (This is the same guy who makes the best custom jobs of Warhammer figurines that I have ever seen, that he is my Dungeon Master is just a happy coincidence.)
I picked up a couple of the current issues of Batman just to find out what was going on with my favourite dude. Apparently Bruce Wayne is dead or missing and Nightwing (Dick Grayson, the original Robin for those of my readers who don't know; yes the one played by Chris O'Donnell...) is now the Batman. The new Robin is Bruce Wayne's biological son (he's 10.) Where is this from? Is this the rumoured surprise I heard he received from Talia? I saw that Tim Drake is now called Red Robin. Very curious, I have some Wikipediaing to do...
(Just had a vision of Sheldon saying: "I'm Batman!" Nobody ever says that they are Aquaman...Aquaman has been around since 1941 can't the guy get any respect? He is really one of the best characters ever. Yet, the Comic Book Guy...)
I have a D&D game this Friday, where we are going to fight the big guy. This is the moment that everything has built up to...my dwarf is getting the hammer polished as we speak. We have a lot of creatures to kill still, but I think we will be able to do it. I love D&D so much. Looking for spells for this fight has been an exercise in D&D research that I have not done in so long, and it has been fantastic. Considering my carpal tunnel syndrome doesn't seem to let me paint and sculpt models properly at the moment (although my right hand isn't too bad, the left really hurts, however!)
I have decided that my son shall be henceforth known as Littlecaveman.
That's all for now, come back next time for more random thoughts, like, I really thought that Eddie Murphy should have actually recorded "Buckwheat sings!"
