The Force is strong in that one...

is the third last thing Vader says in A New Hope. (For the record, the last thing he says is What!!??) OK The second last is "I have you now." By the way, the most misquoted line in history is in the Empire Strikes Back. He says "No, I am your father." Not, Luke, I'm your father or some variety here. Just saying...(while on my way to the Dagobah system).

I sit here typing this with both Mrs. Mattcaveman and Mini-caveman in the room. Mini is singing a song that consists of three syllables over and over. That's one more than Lady Gaga can manage in a song. (Buck, buck, be buck....mmmm...chicken....)

I still wish I had a Tim Horton's in walking distance. Maybe Ottawa does have one advantage over Aylmer after all. (But our chicks are hotter! And they speak both ways!)

I think I want to be a hippy. Just to sit around all day and listening to tunes and drinking...tea. Yes, the Rutles poison (see clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijFDkpNma-k) Yes, that's Eric Idle from Monty Python narrating, for those that don't know. On second though, I'm too twitchy to be a hippy. However, I will always live for the flower people (clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfD-E9hKCWM), just to keep living the dream.

You, know, Katie Couric is pretty cute for a newsgirl. I see the oil in the Gulf is still flowing. The parts must have been American union-made...

Trivia, who speaks the last line in A New Hope... (The answer will startle you...) Hah! Beat this geek! Of course, I have the entire Internet at my hands...

Space showed Star Trek: The Motion Picture on Saturday. I haven't watched that one in years...It of course brings back the question: Voyageur 2 was launched in the mid-70's (based on the Jupiter pictures and the fact that it reached Neptune in 1989...geez 21 years already...) When the heck was Voyageur 6 launched? (The program has been defunct for years). And if it encountered a black hole that sent it across the galaxy, how did it come back so fast? I'm sure there's an explanation at Memory Alpha (the Star Trek Wiki for those who don't know...), but I really don't feel like looking it up right now (see the V'ger entry in particular.)

I wonder what Irregular Webcomic is building to. They have been doing time travel strips for weeks now, and I'd like to see the conclusion. I'm all atingle...

The trivia answer - R2-D2! His beeps and boops are the reason.
